Since 1954 The Child Garden has been educating and serving the Reno area. I am proud to be able to say I have been part of that great history since 2001. Owning The Child Garden has been as an amazing experience for both myself and my three kids. My children were able to grow up in a preschool setting that has allowed them to be successful students and confident individuals in all they do. It has been such a pleasure to watch many children grow up in our school. One of my greatest pleasures is having our alumni families stop by and share their successes with me. I feel our school is a home away from home. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful staff and families here and I am honored to call them my “second” family. Miss Kelly Owner/Director
 Ms. CeCe, (Assistant Director) Throughout her five years of working with preschool aged children, Ms. CeCe most enjoys the interaction she receives from the children, their parents, and her co-workers. She fell in love with teaching from day one. If she could see into a crystal ball, she would see herself enjoying her career at The Children Garden for many years to come.
Ms. Mandy, (Rainbow Class) Ms. Mandy is working towards earning her Early Childhood Education degree. She loves working with children, whether it is teaching preschool at The Child Garden or coaching gymnastics and cheerleading. She is amazed at how much their minds develop in such a short period of time. It brings a great deal of happiness to her life and she hopes to continue working with children throughout her career. Ms. Mandy would like to one day open her own business.
Ms. Rose, (Sunshine Class) The Child Garden has become a second home to Ms. Rose. Her own two children attended both the Pre-K and the Kindergarten programs at The Child Garden when she started teaching here 24 years ago. Ms. Rose brings a variety of talents and experience to The Child Garden team. These include competitive ice skating, performing in a band, and running a production studio. She is a strong believer in the Arts and enjoys how excited the children get during music and arts and crafts time. Ms. Rose has seen many changes over the years at The Child Garden and is most excited about how Ms. Kelly has really made the school a great place to teach, learn, play, and grow.
Ms. Carmen, (First Grade) Ms.Carmen has been involved in Early Childhood Education for 30 years and loves how the kids can always make her laugh. She chose this field when she realized how much she enjoyed working with children after volunteering for a Head Start program her son attended. Ms. Carmen was the first graduate of the Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program in the State of Nevada. After teaching in several different areas she found her home 14 years ago at The Child Garden.
Ms. Linda, (Administration) Ms. Linda is working towards earning her degree in Administration for Early Care and Education Programs. She loves working in a children's enviroment and believes that each child has something special that can be built upon. She is stunned by how each child's mind is like a sponge, they learn incredibly fast and before you know it they are little young adults. Ms. Linda is very happy and thankful to be part of The Child Garden, she has learned a lot and looks forward to learning more. In her future she hopes to continue working in a child's setting and possibly be a director of a child's education program.
